April 25, 2024 – Prayer is needed for Wesley, the son of David and Linese Weberg. He is currently in the hospital in So. Calif., his throat has closed up and he is being incubated (or intubated). He’s 8-9 months old and the cause has not been determined. Prayer for the parents and grandparents at this critical time.
April 24, 2024 – Prayer request from Laura Miller. Her daughter is in a really bad state, she recently found out she had been actively involved in Wicca for quite some time. Please pray for her release of this bondage. Also, prayer for Laura and her daughter’s personal safety on Thursday, they will be at an event.
January 23, 2024 – Prayer request from Nick Phillips: A co-worker of Nick, is worried about his missing 30 year old daughter. He has not been able to contact her for the last three days. Please pray that she is found and/or contacts her dad.
December 21, 2023 – Continued prayer for Andrew Cozine, he has now been transferred to Portland so he can learn mobility skills again. He is basically a paraplegic since having the tumor removed over the Thanksgiving holiday. Pray for this 9 year old to be able to heal back to the normal 9 year old that he was.
December 21, 2023 – Please pray for Ricky, who used to go to the mission and has turned his life around. He is going into surgery tomorrow, the doctors have found that the lower right ventricle in his heart is not producing oxygen.

December 7, 2023 – Please pray for Caroline’s health issues. She has a friend, Kathy, who’s son passed away recently. Another friend, Bill has health issues.
November 25, 2023 – Please pray for Vickie and Brian McCormick grandson has an ear infection that is still hangin on.
Please pray for Lois, who has what they call “Long Covid or Long Haul Covid”, while taking care of her mother. Continued prayers for Lois’ mother as well.
November 23, 2023 – Pastor Jerry’s uncle, Johnny’s great grandson, Andrew Cozine has a brain tumor. He is 9 years old. Tomorrow he will be having surgery. Please pray for a smooth surgery and recovery with God’s protections over him and his family.
UPDATE: Andrew made it through surgery yesterday but had a rough night. He’s going in for a follow up MRI and they say the next 72 hours are critical. Continued prayer for Andrew.
November 23, 2023 – Please pray for Diana Wheeler’s family, she went to be with the Lord earlier this week.
October 29, 2023 – Please pray for Lois’ (Dibley Cameron) mother, she was taken by ambulance to Rideout Hospital in Yuba City. (The reason for hospitalization is unknown at this time.)
October 19, 2023 – Please pray for comfort and peace for the Womack (David, Haley and Nora) family. Haley’s dad recently passed away. (There are no details regarding his passing.)
October 17, 2023 – Please pray for Larry and Sandy. Larry is doing much better although he’s weak, he is in remission. Sandy asked if would put her sister Diana, on the prayer chain, she is at Sierra Nevada in ICU.
October 17, 2023 – Please pray for David Grey, on Monday October 9th, he suffered a heart attack and the doctors performed a quadruple bypass. He is currently at a Sacramento hospital. Please pray for David and his wife, Nicolette and their 3 children. They are also in need of child care while David is in the hospital.
September 30, 2023 – Please pray for Nick’s niece, Patricia, who has custody hearing for her son on Monday, October 2, 2023.
UPDATE – September 18, 2023 – We prayed for her a couple of weeks ago for Barbra Lund, she passed away this past week. The family is at peace with this. She was 83 and involved with spreading the word throughout her life. She had adopted a small village of people in Kenya years ago and traveled back and forth constantly, there is a replacement now taking over her work there. God goes on.
September 6, 2023 – Please continue to pray for baby Jax. He was born at 1.9 lbs premature. He is currently in a Chicago Hospital. The doctors will be performing a tracheostomy and installing a feeding tube.
September 1, 2023 – Please pray for baby Jax. He was born at 1.9 lbs premature. He is just over a month and has not been able to breathe on his own. They removed the ventilator this week but he struggled and so he had to go back on. Let’s pray this one to fullness that his lungs can begin to work.
August 15, 2023 – Please pray for Pastor Jerry’s brother’s wife, Peggy Cooper. Donny and Peggy were traveling in Idaho when she started having tightness in her chest, back pains, and losing feeling in her arm. She has been diagnosed with having a heart attack and is having a stint put in. Pray for the doctors and speedy recovery.
August 2, 2023 – Prayer request for Barbara Lund. Barbara has been diagnosed with a rare cancer. She is currently being hospitalized undergoing experimental treatments. She has been active with the Mustard Tree Ministry.
July 7, 2023 – Prayer request from Lori Edwards, for my friend David. For the past 5 years he has been undergoing dialysis treatments 3 times a week. As of late he’s not feeling well after the treatments. Last week, it got so bad that he was almost taken to the hospital after the treatment but managed to make it home. Please pray for a better outcome after treatments, a couple of weeks ago, he’d had great reports after his treatment, so this current outcome is bewildering and upsetting for him.
June 17, 2023 – Please pray for Kit’s hip replacement recovery. He’s doing well but uncomfortable, he knows healing takes time. (Prayer for Janet as well, she’s Kit’s care giver.)
June 12, 2023 – Prayer request from Mary Barber, please pray for Jake, the tumor in his mouth is bleeding a lot, this morning. She is really concerned about him.
June 8, 2023 – Robert Kendrick’s daughter, Amber, has made the decision to come to the Lord and was recently baptized. Prayer for her to go further and put God first.
June 2, 2023 – Please pray for Terry and Catherine Seeder. Terry was diagnosed with cancer, he and his wife would appreciate prayer. He is still undergoing treatment.
June 1, 2023 – Update and prayer request for Wendy Hayward. Her dear friend, Tana, passed away (not sure of the date). Tana has made arrangements for her disabled son to stay with friends, but he doesn’t want to live with them. Wendy is unsure of what she should do in this situation. Please pray for Tana’s son and wisdom for Wendy.
May 15, 2023 – Please pray for Nick and Max. Max was sick yesterday and Nick had to go home from work. Continued prayer for a new babysitter and Max’s health.
May 15, 2023 – Prayer request from Wendy Hayward. Wendy requests prayer for her longtime Christian friend, Tana. Tana has been in the hospital for about 10 days, has a 22 year old son with down syndrome and lost her husband about 7 years ago. Her doctor thinks there is a possibility of a bacterial pneumonia that may be driven by COVID. She is not responding to high flow oxygen, so they have to put her on a bipap machine. The final recommendation would be to try to intubate her.
May 10, 2023 – Nick Phillips requests prayer to find a new babysitter for Max, the sitter keeps raising the price.
April 27, 2023 – Please pray for Brian and Mary’s dog J-Kup, he’s going into surgery today. They are going to cut some of that tumor out.
April 14, 2023 – Please pray for Pastor Jerry Cooper’s son Jason. He needs to have his gallbladder removed.
March 30, 2023 – Please pray for Janet Cooper, she had to put down her dog Holly, due to medical complications. She is feeling sad over the loss of her dog.
March 28, 2023 – Janet Cooper’s brother Bob, was taken by ambulance to the hospital with a possible stroke.
March 18, 2023 – Please pray for Caroline Burtt, she is going into the hospital tomorrow for a procedure.
March 17, 2023 – Please pray for Rudy and Brenda’s baby grandson who is 2 years old. He was badly burned last night when he pulled a crock pot off the counter onto himself. His name is Cody and he’s at Shriners Hospital.
March 3, 2023 – Prayer request from Ruth Armstrong. Their friend, Donna Bristol, is having brain surgery on March 16th at Stanford. Please pray for the doctors, peace for Donna and family, and a speedy recovery.
March 1, 2023 – Please pray for Walter Rilling’s daughter who needs to have her baby today! As of tomorrow, she will be 2 weeks over due and she would like to have a home birth. Pray for a safe and natural delivery.
March 1, 2023 – Please pray for Don Clouse who was taken to Ride Out Hospital yesterday morning. He is expected to stay for a couple of days for observation.
February 20, 2023, Judy Edwards would like prayer for health issues and God’s continued blessings on her.
January 31, 2023 – Prayer request for Dawn and Scott Houser. Dawn and Scott are taking a business trip (for Dawn) to Atlanta on Friday, February 3, 2023, returning Wednesday, February 8, 2023. They request prayer while traveling and for their safety once they arrive.
January 15, 2023 – Please pray for Robert’s friends niece, Ashley Nicole Mahipos. She’s only 10 years old and is having an issue with her kidneys.
December 12, 2022 – Please pray for Pastor Jerry’s little niece, Harvyn Noreen. She is diagnosed with RSV/Covid.
November 14, 2022 – Please pray for Di Bates, (Pastor Jerry’s friend), who slipped on ice this morning. They suspect she might have broken her shoulder. Please pray for a quick healing.
November 6, 2022 – Prayer request for little Max, on his birthday, needing to go to the doctor right now with breathing difficulty. He was coughing at church today.
Prayer request from Pastor Jerry. I have a friend who passed away on the 4th. Her name is Cindy Hill. Her family is grieving and needs prayer.
November 4, 2022 – Please continue to pray for Michelle Stewart because of her school and work load.
Please pray for Judy Edwards for her health and her car situation.
November 1, 2022 – Please pray for Jeri Fitzgerald and family, Jeri is in the hospital for pneumonia and her potassium level is off.
Please pray for Michelle Stewart, she is still struggling with her statistics class and work.
Please pray for Robert Kendrick who is looking for opportunities to preach to other people to come to the Lord. He asks for prayer for Joe, who is in the hospital, to come to the Lord and for a speedy recovery.

September 14, 2022 – Please pray for Jedediah Rice, his wife and family for God’s hand to be on them with the loss of a 2 year old daughter.
September 10, 2022 – Please pray for the Bible Camp near Auburn, it has been evacuated.
September 8, 2022 – Update on Angel, she has been located and is currently being assessed for any change in her situation.
September 7, 2022 – Please pray for Angel, we are concerned for her safety. The church and her conservator are unable to locate her.

August 10, 2022 – Please pray for Janet Burton’s husband, Kit, a new believer, who had a medical episode yesterday which may have been a mini-stroke or worse. Pray he gets in to see a neurologist ASAP and that his condition improves. Give praise that all tests at the ER were good, as is his spirit.
July 25, 2022 – Please pray for Cari, a volunteer at the Smartsville historic church, who is hoping for medical insurance approval today to treat her gall bladder problem.
July 23, 2022 – 1. Please pray for Michelle Stewart, as she is going into emergency surgery for her throat.
July 19, 2022 – Prayer request for Michelle Stewart. Michelle’s mom Donna, just passed away sometime this afternoon. Please keep Michelle and her family in your prayers.
July 18, 2022 – Please pray for Ruth Armstrong, after doing work on their property, she got a head cold/sinus issue and wasn’t feeling well.
July 18, 2022 – Please pray for Don Clouse. He needs to be moved to a nursing home as his ability to take care of himself is diminishing. Pray that Pastor Jerry finds a facility to take Don.
July 13, 2022 – Please pray for Pastor Jerry’s cousin, Jamie, 40 yrs old, who was found unconscious in a house she was showing. She is currently in a hospital, in a comatose state for this past week. They will be moving her tomorrow to a Kaiser Hospital where they hope she will be able to get long term care.
Update on Pastor Jerry’s cousin, Jamie
Last Sunday Pastor Jerry told us that his cousin, Jamie, was going to be taken off life support. They have found out that Jamie is helping 6 families. Her heart, lungs, eyes, skin and kidneys are being donated. This is something that Jamie wanted, was to help other families in need of organs.
June 28, 2022 – Please pray for Pam Lane’s son, Philip, who has been diagnosed with “Complex Diabetes”. He recently lost a lot of weight and is currently 6 ft and 142 lbs. His goal now is to gain weight.
June 27, 2022 –Please pray for Elaine Likens and her family. Their car was totaled and there was some minor injury to the family. The car was Cliff’s source of work transportation. They need prayer for comfort and for their finances.
June 25, 2022 – Please pray for Michelle Stewart’s mother, Donna. Donna is having pain that is preventing her from walking and movement in general. The source of the pain is unknown. Prayer for relief from the pain and definitive diagnoses by the doctor’s, after their hospital visit today.
May 22, 2022 – Please pray for Leonard Shippen, he is having some medical issues with water around his heart.
May 17, 2022 – Please pray for John Cordova, the church’s insurance agent. He may have a blood clot in his leg. He is on his way to the doctor to check on his leg.
May 9, 2022 – Please pray that Nick passes his class A and B driving permit test on Wednesday.
Praise Report for Nick, he passed his permit test, he received a 96% on his test.
May 9, 2022 – Please pray for Anita Eiben. Her chronic pain unexpectedly kept her from coming to Pioneer Day where her husband was performing at the Timbuctoo Theatre – one of many volunteers.
May 3, 2022 – Please pray for a local Smartsville resident named Al, 80 years old, who has many health issues and needs encouragement and to feel God’s love.
April 28, 2022. Mike Christensen is going in for surgery on Friday, 29th of April, 2022, for his heart. He said Julian is nervous, please pray for the family.

2- Please pray for Patrick Edwards and his wife, Shayne. They will be traveling to Cincinnati this Thursday thru Monday, we ask for safe travels.
3-Please pray for Carl from the Mission. Carl has turned his life around, please keep him and his wife in your prayers to make the right life decisions.
April 25, 2022 Update on Wendy Hayward. On Friday April 16th, Wendy began her trip to Idaho and arrived on the 17th. She’s finally with her family.
April 13, 2022: Prayer request from Ashley Gordon. Please pray Ashley’s family who are also in Louisiana.
April 13, 2022: Prayer request from Janet Burton. Please pray for my cousin, Sue, in Louisiana. They have had a tornado come through and have another tornado watch. The damage seems to be from trees around her house so far. They have no power there.
April 12, 2022: Prayer request from Wendy Hayward. Please pray for Wendy as she travels to Idaho. She is accompanied by 3 dogs. Also pray for her family, one of her daughters needs extra prayer.
April 7, 2022: Prayer request from Robert Armstrong. Prayer request for Trevor Bolt, Robert’s cousin, of the Linda Fire Dept., who had a very difficult service call. A mother drowned her two and five year old children. Trevor is having a difficult time with the outcome of this incident. Please pray for the mother and her family and for Trevor and his family.
March 29, 2022: Prayer request from Janet Burton. Prayer request for Brantley Parrish, severely burnt while cooking s’mores with his grandfather. His aunt, Sabrina Austin, is from this area (Smartsville) and requested anybody who prays to ask for healing.
March 29, 2022: Prayer request from Nick Phillips. Nick requests prayer for peace in his heart. Max can feel his stress or anxiety, when he throws up all over him.
March 27, 2022: Prayer request from Janet Burton. Please pray for Janet’s son, Ben. His dog was accidentally run over and died yesterday. The dog had become a comfort dog for him and he’s deeply grieving. Pray that Ben is comforted by the Holy Spirit.
March 10, 2022: Prayer request from Nick Phillips. Please pray for baby Max. He is sick again with an ear infection and a fever.
Update on Max. Praise report, Max is feeling much better. He is running around and into everything. Thank you for your prayers.
March 8, 2022: Update on Ross and Jojo Patterson. Praise report on Jojo and Ross. Jojo is at home and is doing much better. Ross is scheduled to be released today from the hospital.
March 8, 2022: Prayer request for Robert Kendrick, daughter Taya. Please pray for Robert’s 19 year old daughter, Taya, she needs a stable environment and direction in life. Keep Robert in your prayers as well.
March 4, 2022: Prayer request for Pastor Jerry. Pastor Jerry cut his right index finger at the knuckle. He had it removed. I just talked with him after his surgery, he said he’s fine and in no pain. Please pray that Pastor Jerry has no complications (like infection) with his recovery.
March 4, 2022: Prayer request from Janet Burton. Janet requests prayer for her son Ben, traveling this weekend to take the last and hardest part of his national certified journeyman farrier’s exam.
March 4, 2022: Prayer request from Hilda Biffle. She would like prayer for peace, solace, and love as her mother, Rebecca, is in hospice.
March 2, 2022: Prayer request from Nick Phillips. Please pray for baby Max, he has a loose tooth and hardly eating. Nick is going to schedule an emergency appointment tomorrow for him.
Update March 3, 2022: Praise report, after Nick took Max to the dentist, Max’s teeth are all good and so is he. Just a typical 1 year old.
March 2, 2022: Prayer request for Ann Driver, a Christian Rough and Ready resident, beginning chemo treatment for cancer.
March 1, 2022: Continued prayers for Ross, who is still in the hospital. Jojo was released from the hospital, taken home by their son, Levi. Prayer for Jojo as she recovers with the help of Levi and their neighbors.
February 27, 2022: Prayer request for the Gordon family. Message from Ashley: pray for us please we’ve got covid and hubby can’t go to work for the second week.
March 1, 2022: Praise report from Ashley Gordon, hubby, Stevean’s Covid test is negative and can go back to work.
February 26, 2022: Prayer request for Eric’s Mom, Marie Black. She has low grade pneumonia and is hospitalized at Rideout Hospital.
February 25, 2022: Prayer Request from Janet Burton for Mike Moyer. Prayer request for Mike Moyer, Loma Rica resident, waiting for heart procedure in Sac. Hospitals are full. He’s been a generous community volunteer and past Yuba Community College board member.
February 19, 2022: Prayer Request for Auston, Pastor Jerry’s future son – in – law. Please pray for Auston, he was hospitalized for COVID, then they discovered a blood clot. The doctors are in the process of thinning down the blood.
February 18, 2022: Prayer Request for Eric, Rebecca, Kyona and Eric Jr. Please pray for God’s grace for the Black family.
February 18, 2022: Prayer Request for Ross and Jojo Patterson. Please pray for Ross and Jojo, they tested positive for COVID.
Update on Ross and Jojo Patterson. Please keep praying for Ross and Jojo. Jojo has been hospitalized, they are keeping an eye on her oxygen levels. Ross is better but is still recovering from COVID.
February 11, 2022: Prayer Request for Michelle Stewart’s mom. Michelle requests prayer for her mother, Donna, who will have emergency surgery Tuesday at 5:00 PM
February 11, 2022: Prayer Request for Mary and Brian Barber. Both Mary and Brian have COVID. Mary’s fever broke today, but she is still having difficulty with her cough. Brian is doing much better.

February 6, 2022: Prayer Request from Pastor Jerry Cooper – Please pray for Pastor Jerry who has taken the rapid COVID test and the result was positive. Everyone who was at church today, has been exposed to COVID.
February 5, 2022: Prayer Request from Caroline Burtt – Please pray for her friend Ken, he’s in Hospice now. Pray for his family as well.
February 4, 2022: Prayer Request for Bernie Staples – Please pray for Bernie, she has a sore throat and is tired. She says she is on the mend but her voice is raspy.
February 5, 2022 – Spoke with Bernie and she’s sounds and feels better.
February 3, 2022: Please pray for Louise Rust as she is not feeling well, nausea is one of her symptoms and she is having difficulty with preparing meals for herself. If there is anyone who would like to bring meals to her, please contact her daughter, Beth, for her specific dietary needs. Please email the church if you’d like to receive more information on how to help Louise.
February 4, 2022: Update from Louise’s daughter Beth – Her taste buds are messed up, she is tired and has a headache. She’s still really rough. The worst of it is that she’s just wiped out and has a really bad headache.
February 5, 2022 – Good news from Louise: “I really am better tonight. My headache is gone and though I get exhausted quickly and easily, I was able to play the piano for the first time since Monday. Only was for a few minutes, it was wonderful letting my fingers caress those blacks and whites.”
January 30, 2022: Prayer request from Hilda Biffle. Please pray for Hilda’s mom, Rebecca. She’s having difficulty with her health, many complications due to her cancer and heart issues. Also pray for her sister, Carmen, who is struggling with depression.
February 5, 2022 – Rebecca is home now and looks happy and well.
January 28, 2022: Prayer request for Michelle Stewart. Please pray for Michelle Stewart for God to lift her up. She has so much going on, yet she shows much strength. Classes at college began this week, her mother has gone to the doctor or ER a lot lately, she’s working at two post offices, and has to leave out worship practice and probably church this Sunday.
January 30, 2022 – from Michelle Stewart: Update on Mike Christiansen’s sister’s teen grandson Cody. We have been praying for recovery as he was taken to the hospital with covid, seizures and was unresponsive on December 30. He had an aneurysm and was taken to surgery around the 8th of January. He has had a slow recovery, but is now able to gently toss a ball to his mom and has been transferred to a children’s hospital, slowly recovering. Thank you for your prayers.
January 28, 2022: Prayer request from Brian and Vickie McCormick. Please pray for our nephew, Blain, his thumb was severed in a rodeo competition in S. Dakota. Praying for a surgeon there locally who is able to save his thumb. Please also pray for his family that they feel God’s presence and assurance. Blain is 21.
Jan. 29, 2022-Update on Blaine: Thank you all for praying this just received from my brother-in-law regarding his son’s thumb surgery.
“I’m on the phone w/Blaine, it was a successful surgery, GIVE GOD THE GLORY, AMEN! Let everyone know, THE GRACE OF GOD!”
January 22, 2022: Prayer request from Michelle Stewart. Michelle is on her way to the hospital with her mom. Her mom is having pain. Please pray for them to get there safely, get in quickly, figure out what’s wrong and resolve any issues. Pray for wisdom for the doctors as well.
January 20, 2022: Prayer request from Nick Phillips. Please pray for a speedy recovery for Nick’s Aunt Connie who has COVID.
January 17, 2022: Prayer request for Janet Burton and family. Janet’s ex-husband, Charlie, who is currently in the hospital, is declining. Please pray for comfort for the family going through this as their children are not able to visit due to COVID restrictions. Prayer for Charlie to be with Jesus.
Update: Charlie is in Assisted Living facility where they let family visit. Hospice will help.
Update and message from Janet Burton. My ex-husband passed away peacefully today. Our prayers were truly and immediately answered. Thanks to all.
January 10, 2022: Prayer request for Michelle Stewart. Please pray for Michelle, her vehicle was broken into today while at work. Broken window, purse (with drivers license) and planner taken, attempted use of credit cards. God bless her, she is still in good spirits, positive and faithful.
January 9, 2022: Prayer request from Michelle Stewart – Please pray for Michelle’s mom, Donna. She had a fall and went to emergency. Big gash on her head and a black eye. Irregular heartbeat needs to be steadied, healing and ease of pain.
January 7, 2022: From Caroline Burtt. Please pray for her sister, Liz. She has been hospitalized with pneumonia.
January 4, 2022: From Laura Miller. Please pray for her sister, Rebecca. She’s just been admitted to the hospital. There is a good chance she has COVID but they’re also testing for heart problems. She knows the Lord, fortunately.
January 3, 2022: For the Eric Black family. Please pray for the Black family’s living situation, the water in the well, difficulty with their neighbor, the safety of their whole household and the ability to keep up with the upkeep of all their animals.
Praise report for Eric Sr., he has passed his welding certification and is able to receive an pay increase.
January 1, 2022: From Louise Rust. Louise’s daughter, Beth has COVID. She lives in Washington state with all the urgent care facilities closed and is waiting at the hospital right now, having trouble breathing, in her car to stay warm until she can be seen by the one available doctor for possible pneumonia. Please pray for the best possible care for her condition.
Update on Louise’s daughter, Beth. Beth did not have pneumonia, she was diagnosed with a sinus infection. She did not stay long in the hospital and felt a “lift” in her breathing after we prayed.
