"Now when they had come and gathered the church together, they reported all that God had done with them, and that He had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles." Acts 14:27
About Us
Historic Smartsville Community Church is nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Mountains. We are a small family style congregation from all around the surrounding Smartsville town.
Our Pastor, Jerry Cooper, was at one time a B52 mechanic, saddle bronc rider (arena dirt tester), postmaster, building maintenance mechanic, construction worker, served on the Yuba County School Board for 8 years, served as a Chaplain for Sierra Nevada Hospital for 6 years, was the President of the Citizens Association for Yuba County/Foothill for 3 years, and is currently running his construction company, while loving, serving and walking with the Lord.
He is quoted to say... "we're in need of a few more sinners," [attending our church]
Prayer Request
We would like to pray for all those in need of prayer. You do not need to attend if you'd like prayer for yourself or someone else. Send us an email with as much information as you're comfortable giving, and we'll get the message to people who would be glad to pray for you.
"For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.” Matthew 18:20
He shall regard the prayer of the destitute, And shall not despise their prayer. Psalm 102:17
